Sorry to post a new thread on this - but in a FP dilemma

I haven't been to MK in 10 years - we are off site. Booked my FP today for our Thursday, May 25th MK park day. MK is open until 11:00pm that day

I read everything, and secured 3 fast pass early in the day in hopes of getting more FP in mid afternoon.

Now I read that we should FP 7DMT above all else, but the only FP is at 10:10pm which means no additional FP during the day.

I have two boys who won't Rope Drop - so do you think FP 7DMT is better vs. waiting in line for Splash mid day? That's the one I gave up for the 7DMT. (I did secure it in the heat of the moment!)

I do know to keep looking at the FP - but for now - keep the 10:10 pm 7DMT fast pass and give up getting more during the day/and do stand by for Splash? I read the lines for 7DMT can still be super long before closing.

Yes keep the FP. It'll have long lines all day and 7dmt at night is a lot more fun than 7dmt during the day. If it's a low wait at night then you can ride twice

I would FP something else and if your willing to stay at the park till close, ride 7DMT right at closing. Get in line around 10:55 for an 11pm closing and you will likely have around a 20ish min wait. just make sure your boys can stay up even if it is a midnight or later close.

I was just there last week. I did not reserve a fast pass for 7DMT. Same as you only after 10 was available.
When we were in the park looking our 4th pass, there were plenty of 7DMT. We were able to get a 2:25 then another at 3:30.

I used the app and kept refreshing. I was able to fast pass everything we wanted to ride. Longest wait was 17 minutes on space mountain in the fast pass line.

Good luck and have fun.

We always go to wdw in May and based on my past experiences during that month I would drop your 7dmt and go back to the fp for splash. You can get a thirty minute wait time at 7dmt at 10:30 pm on an 11 o'clock close night. Considering that this thirty minutes would be at night when temps are lower and in a fun, interactive queue, those thirty minutes would be much better than 45-60 minutes in a boring, hot line for Splash midday. If I were in your shoes I'd switch FPs with no hesitation.

With my experience, the line has been significantly shorter after the fireworks. I have waited for a max. of 35 minutes after the fireworks. With that, it most likely will be a shorter wait at night.

I checked Touring plans. They estimate the wait for 7dmt at 10-11 pm on May 25th as 34 minutes.

Thank you all sooooo much! I kept checking to see if anyone had responded, and I appreciate your taking the time to do so - it really helps!

I switched back to using the third FP for Splash, and will look forward to getting more FP and riding 7dmt at night with or without FP!

Thanks again!
