Late night dessert at Blue Bayou?

Hello all! My DD will be celebrating her 30th birthday on June 23rd at DL, and I would like to take her to the BB for dessert only around 9PM. Is this accepted by the restaurant? I imagine it should be a bit quieter at that time. Also, where can I find the current dessert menu and price list?

I don't think it'll be a problem just ordering dessert, but you will still need to make a reservation. Blue Bayou is one of the places that consistently turns away walk-ups because they're very popular. In terms of the dessert menu, that is one of the more "elusive" menus out there.

My understanding is that the Blue Bayou F! dining package includes the entire menu (I.e., it's not a special menu), so you might be able to figure out what desserts are being currently offered by looking at the F! dining package menu. I'd probably estimate about $10 for the desserts, but I couldn't find an actual/recent menu with prices.

In Oct 2013 we did dessert only about 3.30pm. It was great - got to experience the atmosphere without it being too expensive. The girls I was with wouldn't have enjoyed any if the items on the main menu anyway!

We had a chocolate cake type item, a key lime pie and because it was Halloween I had the Minnie Mouse demitasse cup with a mousse in it. Very delicious! They were all around the $8.50 mark.

I'm glad to hear this. I made 9:30 reservations on our upcoming trip but only want to have dessert. I thought I had read on here it was ok, but glad to see if confirmed!
