Late May-Early June Deals?

I plan on taking my girlfriend to Disney from May 30-June 6 for both of our first trips to Disney. My father just received a Discount in the mail with a pin code. So my first question is since it isn't addressed to me can I still use this code? If not when does Disney usually come out with their deals for around this time? With the discount I will be able to afford a deluxe resort without it I think it will be a moderate. So which Deluxe and which moderate are the best? Thanks for any info and sorry for such a loaded question but the info will be very appreciated.
