Someone let me know how the end of June compares to the end of August. We were just down there during Easter Break and already I'm planning again. Need to know things like Rainfall, crowds. Will be staying onsite. Heat not a problem. Thanking you in advance for your help.

:)

I'm curious too.. We went the first week in june last year and crowds did not seem all that bad. However this year due to my older sons school getting out later, we are arriving on Fathers day for 4 days before our cruise. Anyone with prior experience around this time??

Not a regular event every year, but this year there is a HUGE convention descending on Orlando the final week of June; with 30K attendees. The convention itself begins to wind down on June 27th, and quite a large number of the attendees (and their families) will be hitting the theme parks at that point, probably until the 29th at least.

The convention is being held at OCCC and several I-Drive hotels, though, so the Disney hotels should not be grossly affected.

We've been going late June early July since the kids got too old to take out of school in January.
The parks are crowded; some days you'll find that they were at "maximum capacity" and were closed. And it does rain, often hard, at least once a day.
BUT--we love it! Take the ponchos each day and enjoy the fact that the rain chases away a portion of the crowds who came unprepared.
We us FPs exclusively and take advantage of the later hours in the Parks. It slows down after dark on the major attractions, just about the time our teens are hitting their second wind. We avoid the parks in the early morning and relax around the resort pool until 10-10:30ish.
Get your PSs for your meals and you'll be all set.
Going in the summer months requires more pre-planning than going in an off season, but armed with FPs, APs, and ponchos--you'll be fine.
WDW ON JUNE 24::yes:: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
