Our plane arrives in Orlando at 9:10, staying at ASMovies. (First Trip-Only 32 days to go):woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
Need recommendations on best quick serve that will be open late enough to grab a quick bite.:confused3
Many Thanks.pirate:

If it were me I'd just eat at the airport.... make your life easier. :goodvibes

The Food Court (World Premiere Food Court at ASMovies) would be open till midnight.
Although I have not eaten there I've heard it is good as far as QS goes.

The airport does have a decent selection of foods, but I think the Magic Express has reduced service after 10PM so you may just want to get to the resort.

I would just eat at the food court at the resort. Not the BEST dining option, but definately the easiest. And you will have lots of options to choose from. :) Or if you are feeling exceptionaly energized, you could go to DTD. Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express are both great.

Thanks for the suggestions- Didn't think about the airport but would worry about missing the Guest Express.:scared1:
DTD sounds good- guess that would depend on how my DH (very bad heart condition) and DS (7) tolerate the travel.:drive:
If all else failes I guess it's the hotel.
At least now I know it's open til Midnight.:thumbsup2

I agree, eat at the airport. Some great options there.

When we used to stay at AS..sometimes food court shut down before midnight, depending on the season (busy time or not)

We had a similar time for a flight one time. We wound up just ordering pizza because by the time we got off of the plane, on ME, and to the resort it was super late.

I would suggest McCoy's in the Airport Hyatt.

If you are coming in Gate #60 or higher, when you exit Secuirty do a U-turn to the escalator and go up one level to the Hyatt's lobby and turn right. After you have had dinner you can then catch ME. In the meantime, your luggage will be on its way.

Everyone is right it will be late. Maybe you would be better off grabbing a "sack" at the airport and eating on your way. maybe dessert at asmu. If you feel like you just want to get out an explore because you have energy Try earl of sandwich @ DTD

I would eat at the food court...or better yet, bring food on the plane and eat, and see if you can just hit a park:woohoo:

Plane doesn't land until 9:10 and by then we will have been traveling since noon so I figure my DH and DS will be to tired to hit a park. (Personally I'd be ready to hit the park even if there was only time for 1 ride- LOL)
I'd do the airport but am also afraid of missing the ME.
Guess it will be the hotel or WPE if I can convince them to hit DTD.

You really will not miss magical express.... buses run all night and there is no certain bus you need to board. As long as you have your voucher book you are guaranteed a ride to your resort. :goodvibes

I would go with DTD. The restaurants are open late and you have more selection than in the food court. That is if your kids are up to the outing. I know everyone is tired, but we are never content to arrive and just stay at the resort on our arrival evening, despite that it is a 9 hour and 30 minute flight. (Oh and our time zone is 5 hours ahead too!) Yet despite all this, DD (7) and I always start by going to DTD for a walk around. Aside from being too late for a park, it is a waste of a park entry in my opinion so you are right on the button with opting to give that a miss.

Thanks for the great info- didn't realize ME ran all night.
If DH is to tired I guess me an DS can hit DTD and bring DH somthing back.
:thumbsup2

I don't know if AS has this, but POFQ has pizza in the rest at the resort- takes 2cs credit for a takeaway and dessert and drinks I think? and 2TS for room svc. you'll be able to relax in you room and veg

The airport has Chick-fil-a (we always get something there because we don't have these at home) as well as standard food court places including Sbarro and McDonald's. I'd just grab something there and then go to ME. That way, you don't have to worry about being delayed and having the food court closed when you get to the hotel. Also, after being in transit for so long, I would not want to then go to DTD.

Magical Express runs continuously. The only issue with late arrivals is that after 10:00 pm, they do not pick up bags for you, and you have to get them yourself. But the actual busses run.

MMMM - I'm addicted to their lemonaid:drinking1
Plus my picky son likes there chicken so this sounds like another option.

IMHO I would hope to make it to the counter service at the hotel. Because this is your first visit right? I would want to get there as fast as possible. The hotels at Disney are part of the magic and just being there is a happy time. HOwever, if there is a chance that they close earlier than midnight as someone stated, then I don't know, I would hate for you to be hungry all night. Also if you hubby has a hear condition I think maybe a rest after traveling would be good, DTD can be really overwhelming and depending on what night you get there, it can really be crowded and stressful. I guess I wasn't much help was I? lol Have a great time, and you will whatever you do.

You are smart to plan ahead. Arriving late at night when food options are limited(and everyone is hungry) can be a challenge. Hopefully if all else fails you can order a pizza from one of the chains that delivers late.:earsboy:

Me and DS would love the pizza but to DH pizza is 1 step up from cat food. LOL:cat:
