Hi there, we are on the 4/15 dream out of PC and our return flight was originally at 1pm. Frontier rescheduled to 7p. We have precheck so can stand to get to airport 530 latest.

We have a 3yo so can't easily uber, and my mom uses an ecv in the parks. We are doing 2 park days before the cruise. With luggage and kids, wwyd?

I thought about booking DCL bus on the way back to a monorail resort, putting our bags w bell services and then checking out lobbies, food and gifts at the 4 mono resorts. But can I even do that without a res number on the way back?

Thought about renting a car and going to Kennedy space center but it has been years since I've sailed out of PC and I don't know how the car rental situation works.

We live in a beach town so not interested in that.

Any ideas for our specific situation? Thanks!!

I don’t think you can just head to any resort on magical express. I remember giving hotel reservation confirmation numbers. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

but if you’re open to renting a car, just take the shuttle from the port (it was right by where the buses for resorts/airport pick you up) and you can head to Disney. Park Disney springs and get any Disney resort bus and resort hop from there.

You could just take Disney transportation back to the airport and book a day room (I think they do this, many hotels in airports do) at the Hyatt Regency in the airport hotel. It's not the most exciting way to spend a day, but it would be easy and a nice way to relax before the flight. The hotel has a pool (closed currently) and you can swim and relax for the day there.

I agree with Tiki above - I would book a Day Room at the lovely Hyatt Regency at MCO. It's right there in the airport. Great restaurant for lunch if you don't want to deal with the food court, that does have a lot of options. Ask for a Runway View - watching the planes is fun. There are a lot of shops in the aiport pre-security. I know it seems like a lot of time. But on embarkation day you need to get up pretty early, and then deal with transportation, and it's tiring. Having a hotel room to hang out in is great. And then it's just an elevator ride directly to the main airport and Security.

Our flight home is at 5:30pm, so we booked a day room at the Hyatt Regency at the airport using resortpass.com. I also got in touch directly with the Hyatt to see if it was cheaper booking through them, and it was the same price. I liked that I could cancel with resortpass up until the day before if necessary.

Can try a one way car rental and go to Disney springs, and if you really want to tour resorts take the DS buses.
