Late fall discounts?

DD and her fiancé are honeymooning at Disney in early Nov (2nd to 6th). They are booked through an agent so I know she'll stalk the discounts, but are there ever discounts at that time of year, and if so, when do they drop? We aren't counting on a discount for the honeymoon- they are going- but it sure would be sweet if it were a tad more affordable!

There may be discounts but that is also Jersey week (NJ teachers convention so kids are off). When my sister went a couple years ago it was packed (food and wine was also happening).

Historically, the discounts come out around late June, early July. Last year, it was not until early September, and then it was only for certain states, but it was a weird year.

We have reservations for 2nd week of November. We checked with a travel agent we have used previously and even their prices were above what we are willing to pay. We have a reservation at Dolphin and even with parking and resort fee, we are saving about $375 a night for a bigger room (king, alcove) over Disney hotels. If discounts come out for us at a later time, we might switch, but I‘m not holding my breath.

Even when Disney offers discounts it isn't for every type of room and there is always that 'up to x% off' which is more or an incentive to attract attention. Hard to say what discounts Disney might offer as they reopen more of their hotels and traffic likely will increase.

We had a discount on our room when we went back in Nov 2018 but it was later than that, it was 14-19 in between Jersey week and thanksgiving. Not sure they do discounts around Halloween and into Jersey Week. I would imagine Nov discounts would start coming out soon or no later than July.

My thoughts exactly. They use the discounts to try to fill more rooms, and right now they're pretty full-up for everything except a couple days here or there, at a few specific (most expensive) resorts.
