Here's a gem of a tip.....

If you have kids who love Goofy's Barnstormer out in Toontown Fair, head there the last half hour that MK is open. You should be able to ride the Barnstormer almost continuously if crowds are thin. Last week, we had two nights (1/31 Monday and 2/2 Wednesday) where this occurred. My DD9, DS6, and myself got on 15 minutes before close.....singing the Eagles Fight Song with fellow Philly fans as we went up first hill.....when we got back to the station, no one was in the queue, so the CM running the ride asked us if we wanted to go again. Of course we shouted, "YESSS!", stayed in our seats and went again. Same thing when we got back to station, with all of us chanting "One More Time, One More Time" -- the smiling CM's sent us out again, then a fourth time, and a fifth time!! It was closing time by now and it all had to end, but Man Oh Man, what fun! Five times continuously!! We all thanked the laughing CM's, they were loving it just like us....what a fond memory to wrap up a great day.

Give it a try!

My DH goes on this ride while my 2 DD and I go on Space Mountain.
Whenever anyone sees a 48 year old man, 6 ft 5 in go on this ride alone that him!

That's also a great time to see the characters in the Judges' tent. My DD was the only child in the room with Pooh, Tigger & Eeyore.

Speaking of Toontown, I was trying to decide the best time to go. I will be there the Thursday after Easter (crazy, I know). The park opens at 9:00, so I do not think I can get through Fantasyland and over to Toontown by 10:00. Do you think it would be better to go on over and wait in the line (I am assuming that a lot of people go over at opening), or should I do this the very last thing of the night? Wishes is at 10:00, but the park closes at 11:00. Would we have time to meet Mickey and Minnie and ride Barnstormer after Wishes?

Thanks,

Stephanie

We did this on our last trip too! IT is one of our best memories of our trip. The CM's let us ride 10-15 times in a row. It was the best...... DD5 and DD8, along with DW and I really thought it was neat!

WE actually did it right before wishes and then headed to the front of the park. We watched wishes as we walked to the front gate. Wishes ended as we got to the boat to go back to WL. Perfect timing!

I was thinking of that, but it is our first time seeing Wishes, so I want to see if from Main Street. I want to see Tink fly, too.

Philly played a good game on Sunday. I have to ask though, what answers did Andy Reid give for not running the no huddle in the last 5 minutes of the game? Why was Philly walking to the line with no urgency? Philly was a good opponent. Your team will probably be there again in the next few years.

Take care.

Hey cmonroe

Big Red didn't really give any satisfying answer for the lack of no-huddle on the last long drive. They must practice it, I would assume, but they were never in a game this season where they had to run it for real. Still, that's no excuse, not on this large a stage. Needless to say, I was screaming at my TV....."let's go! c'mon! get up on the line!"

I'm diehard, lifelong, Eagles Nation citizen, and this one hurts. I'm disappointed, but proud of my boys. They certainly didn't play their best game overall, Donovan was not himself, and we still had a chance in the end. Congrats to your Pats though, they are worthy champions, they do just what it takes to win.

Here's to a rematch in Detroit 12 months from now....
