Late check in question

I have reservations for the end on Sept. and am thinking of coming down late the night before our trip officially begins and staying at a value resort for one night and then switching over to the Poly. My question is, if I pack enough things in a carry on for us to use the first day at the parks, will magical express deliver my checked baggage to the Poly so it is there the next day? Or is it just easier to have them deliver it to the value and then leave it with bell services to move over. TIA

I believe DME will delivery your luggage only to the resort on your reservation on your day of arrival. If you are staying at a value resort upon arrival, that will be where your luggage is deliverd.

We do this all the time and were also told that the luggage had to be delivered to the resort we stayed at that night.
Now, we just pick up our bags ourselves and take them along on the bus so there's no delay waiting if we arrive late or have a busy evening planned.

I believe if they are delivered you still need to be in the room to accept them or they are left with bell services until you call for them.
