:cool1::cool1::cool1:Generally, when we get to Orlando, we hit the Parks all day, then check into our resort in the 9 PM - 11 PM timeframe. Our room is paid for, guaranteed reservation, so that's not a problem. But is there a downside to this, such as not getting a "better" room? What I mean is that, we are staying at the Hilton Parc Soleil and some of their rooms overlook Epcot and MK, so you can see the fireworks from your room. But would those "good" rooms get taken by the people checking in earlier in the day, leaving we late check in people with whatever is left? Always wondered if this is a case where "the early bird gets the worm".

Anyone with prior hotel/motel experience may be able to add to this discussion. But if any of you have any input or knowledge, please chime in.

Thanks !!!!!

Generally YES the good rooms will be taken. Even though your room has already been assigned, if someone wants to switch out and you havent checked in yet, you run the risk of losing the room. Pretty much you hear late-check in people complain about their rooms and generally are told the hotel is full at this point and there are no rooms available to switch to. Sometimes they know of guests who are checking out the next day that occupy better rooms and offer to switch you to a better room the next day. That's been my experience.
