Irish Suspend Practice

South Bend, Indiana:

Notre Dame football practice was delayed this morning for nearly two hours. One of the players, while on the way to the locker room happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head Coach Bob Davie immediately suspended practice while the FBI was called in to investigate.

After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance unknown to the players was actually the goal line. Practiced resumed when FBI Special Agents decided that the team was not likely to encounter the substance again.

I heard this same joke, but the team was the Phila. Eagles. As a Penn Stater, I am laughing hard at the ND version of this joke. I know that, somewhere, someone is passing the same joke around, but with PSU. Poor Joe............

OK! Isn't it bad enough that ND can't hang on to the football now they can't even see the goal line. I heard from a bookstore worker there that someone put a for sale sign on Davie's front yard. ( I think they are trying to tell him something). I live 20 miles from the campus so I hear a lot of rumors. I think that he had better be getting his desk cleaned out after this season.
