Late breakfast ADR concern for Chef Mickey's

I have just managed to obtain an ADR for 11.50am for Chef Mickey's which is perfect as it will be our Daughter birthday that day princess:.

My concern I have is that the breakfast on that day is up until 12.30pm. Will this mean we get only the leftovers and have a quick 40 minutes before we are they start to clear away.

As this is not a cheap option and it's for a birthday celebration I would appreciate others who have experienced a late ADR reservation at CM.

Thanks in advance

are you going in late August or in September when "free dining" is being offered? Breakfast at CM usually has it's last seating at 11:20 -11:25. I have a couple of posts suggesting that CM may be opening for lunch for some dates in August/September.

If it is breakfast I wouldn't worry. We have a tradition of eating at CM on our last day and then doing some last minute souvenir shopping at DTD before heading out. This past trip I mistakenly booked CM for the wrong day. Eventually I was able to an 11:20 ADR for the correct day.

It was the best time we've had at CM. All of the late diners were seated in the same section. The characters did their normal routing but they early ones circled back to ensure everyone had a chance to meet them. We saw three of the five characters twice. Usually with our 10:00 AM ADR we have to wait 90 minutes to see all of them once. This only took an hour. The food was replenished regularly - no hard scrambled eggs or oatmeal that could be used for mortar.

So this trip I've booked an 11:15 ADR instead of the normal 10:00 AM time slot. We'll just stop at DTD before breakfast for shopping. It's also less crowded since the store are just opening.

We have had 11:30 a.m. seatings at Chef Mickey before and it was great! They were still bringing out fresh food and with the smaller crowds the character interaction was awesome---even got photos with all the characters in them as once!

Although it has not been at CM but we have had similar experiences as the pp with late breakfast ADRs. For this reason we always try to book late breakfast not only so it can be our lunch but for the one-on-one with the characters.
