Late booking savings?

Has anyone ever booked late... like between 30 and 60 days out and recieved a discount? I've heard DCL will negotiate reats w/ TAs if the cruise isn't full, but how late do you have to book?

My understanding is that this used to happen more often than it does now. Now most of the discounts are on the early booking end. But occationally there will be some deals for late bookers (particularly Florida Residents).

Are you traveling with kids? Often Disney will have rooms available, but they are full for children in popular age groups. So adults will have an easier time sailing last minute than families.
