We went last year at the end of Sept...it was humid and hot about 90 or so...and rained at least once a day...

is this what I can expect in August??

I am trying to take advantage of school being out and teacher rate at Swan

Last time we went in August, we went the last week and the first week in September. The weather was the same as you describe for your end of September stay - hot and humid but low crowds and we thought it was very managable. We thought it would eb exactly the same last year in July (except we were prepared for the heavy crowds!) - how wrong we were. We saw just one shower - but boy, was it hot. I will take a bit of rain in exchange for low crowds every time.

watching Toy Story 1 and 2... Next up is the Lion King! LOL!! 2 years old.. it's going to be a hoot!!

Like you, we (me and my DS16) also live in Woodbridge, VA and we will be at WDW/BCR in August but I think we will be there a week before you. Our vacation is 8/18-24 at WDW and then we transfer to Disney Wonder for a 3 day cruise and will be returning home on August 27th.

We will hopefully be going Aug. 24-31, staying first 4 nights at Poly (I won a trip!) then going home to SSR for the remainder! I say hopefully because I am waiting for my prize package to come to find out how to book, etc.... CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Really want to try Poly! Is the heat really THAT bad end of Aug?? I have only been early to mid Oct. timeframe (which had been quite hot at times)!
