Late August Promotions

I am going to Disney last week of August and was just wondering if anyone knows of any late august deals or a guess of when some might come out if they do?

A PIN went out in January that covered August 15- mid October and I haven't seen anything for those dates since. We were just commenting on how glad we are that we acted on it. I'm still hoping something else comes out that was better than our PIN Fingers crossed!

Go to the Walt disney world website. They're have the general public discounts. I'm pretty sure they still have a gen. public 30% off discount for deluxe resorts.
We also got the 40% off PIN way back in Jan. so happy for that!

That general discount of 30% is only till mid August. The 13th or so. There is nothing yet for later than that. Last year is was early to mid April when they came out with the late August deals because I was waiting for them, I remember.

We were lucky to get a 40% room only pin code this past January and snagged that deal before it expired.

In addition to a 40% off room only pin code that was out (which expired the end of Feb) for Late August, there was a public discount for 8/14/11-10/1/11 20%-40% off room-only discount for general public It was on the WDW site until it expired 3/27/11.

I think there had also been a kids stay and play free discount too.

Currently, I do not think there are any offers for late August.

Since the room discount deal is only good until Aug 13th, I am hoping that they are going to offer Free Dining from Aug 14th on.

The years we went in August with free dining the offer came out the first Monday of May, so I am hoping something happens tomorrow!!!

They offered free dining for those weeks last December but you had to reserve them by December 20. Thank god I did!!! Rumor is it won't be offered again on those dates- all that has come out is the Aug. 28 and beyond.

I got 2 pins last week and one covered this timeframe. Actually both did. One was free dining and one was 30% off Deluxe. Maybe a general public discount will follow...pins seem to come first then that and I NEVER get pins...

We got free dining, booked last summer, right after we got home from our August trip. I don't remember the exact dates, but I think the beginning of it was around the 20th or 21st of August. So glad I booked then!
