Late August 2012

We finally decided on late August 2012 instead of the week after Easter, mostly because of crowd levels. I have read that crowds in late August aren;t as bad since most kids are already back in school; our schools don't start until after Labor Day.

We're probably staying at CB, the first time for us there. I'm SOO excited but have so long to wait. I'm hoping Disney will offer free dining for that time period.

At least I love to plan, so that will take up some time

Yay!!! I was about to post the same thing...was pretty sure nothing was going for August 2012 yet! DH and I are planning our first NO KIDS 10th Anniversary trip!!!! I'm soooo excited but it's soooo sad that I can't do anything. Of course I want a super good deal like everyone else. Because it's just the two of us and we've never stayed deluxe I'm actually hoping for a pin or a great room discount on deluxe. Can't wait to book!!

Late August is a good time to visit WDW, crowds significantly thin out mid month with most kids heading back to school. We go in September every year which is even slower but last year had to move to mid August, while busier it was still enjoyable and less crowded than the rest of the summer.

We'll probably miss you by a week or two; I'm thinking early August. I know the crowd levels are higher, but both my husband and I return to school just before Labor Day. We'll want at least a week or two to decompress after a week in WDW.

We're planning to stay at the Beach Club. And we're most definitely getting the meal plan, it works out well for us. And, at the very least, we'll count on the AAA discount while we hope for a PIN or a promo.
