Late Aug/Early Nov??

We have been to WDW four times (all in September) but we would like to go again next year and our oldest will be starting middle school and I just got a part time job at the school so it will be very hard to miss the days!! My mom will be going with us for the first time and I'm trying to decide if we should go right before school starts (around Aug 19th) or wait until our conference break (around Nov 10th)?? I want it to be a wonderful experience for my mom and would love to go back in September but at this point there is just no way!! Thanks for any input.

Obviously if you've been in September and are considering it again, the heat and humidity are not a huge issue for you. My family has been 4 times in November and every time it is still warm enough for us (we are from central GA so we know heat) to say "we will never do this in the summer!" The crowds are manageable and you get something to look forward to after school starts. My vote would be November!

November, November, November. August is still way too hot. And you probably could do the food and wine festival at Epcot (check the dates).

This probably sounds crazy, but there is also the hurricane issue in August--my family has lived in Florida since 1974 (went to high school there) and the weather in November is so much better than in August. Also, it will give you something to look forward to once school starts! We went this year for the four days before Thanksgiving and it was great--November gets my vote!

Personally, I would never go to WDW in August again. It was very hot and humid! But again, if you're used to going in September then I guess that doesn't bother you. I have never gone in November but heard it's a great time, weather wise. I would try for November!
