Late Arrival

We are arrriving after 8pm to CSR and we are wondering if we will get the worst rooms. I'm afraid they will give you a bad room, because all the good rooms were given out early in the day.

If you are arriving in a busy time of year, you may be right. It is important that if there is some upgrade that you really want, that you go ahead and pay for it now, because any freebies will be long gone by 8:00 in the evening. Of course, you could get lucky, but the odds are against you. I guess in a worst case scenario, you could tell the registration desk that your room is not acceptable, and even if there is no availability that night, you could move the next morning or afternoon; unfortunately, moving rooms does cut into valuable vacation time.

We are also in the same position. We will be arriving about 7pm and we have 3 rooms plus a continuing reservation situation (first night room only, next three nights separate with UPH tickets.) I'm going to mention in the fax I send that we will be late arrivals and ask that we not have to change rooms and would like rooms close together.

We will be arriving on a Tuesday, 1/14 and I'm hoping CBR won't be too busy!

Gosh, we won't be checking in until after 11pm. I guess I'll be lucky if I get a room at all!!

Two years ago, we decided to finally go to Disney to see the Christmas decorations. We had an early flight and arrived at the All Star Movies around 10:00 AM. Now, ordinarily, I don't request rooms or anything - we just go with the flow, and we've never been disappointed. But, anyway, my little girl LOVED Toy Story 2 and was a big Jessie fan. I requested Toy Story - if at all posible. Well, the CM said we were assigned to Love Bug. I was a little disappointed, but my little girl really didn't care - she was thrilled to finally be staying at the Movies! And, we all really liked the location-very quiet and close to the bus stop/food court.

Last year, we flew in very late, and arrived at the Movies after midnight. This time, my little one was a big fan of Oddball from 102 Dalmations. Anyway, I went ahead and asked if it was possible to get 101 Dalmations - and that's what we got!!!! I was so excited for my daughter, who had fallen asleep on the way from the airport. When she heard the CM say 101 Dalmations, she danced all the way to the room! Again, we really liked our location - very quiet and close to the bus stop/food court.

I have checked in many times after midnight and we have had great rooms.

When I am on a business trip, I never check into ASMu until after 7:00 PM and I always get a nice room.

Isn't any room a good room when you are at WDW?
