What is the latest I can check in at SSR? My plane does not land until 7:30, but it's at Fort Lauderdale. I will be driving to Orlando from there. I will probably not be there until around 11:00 or 11:30. Is that too late? TIA!!

The front desk is open 24 hours a day. We had a flight delayed for 4-5 hours and arrived at 3:00 AM. We had no problems checking in, even got a golf cart ride to our room.

The Front Desk is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Does anyone know what happens if girlsX2 doesn't get there until after midnight? Does the reservation stay intact or are you considered a no show and the reservation pulled from the system?

Should the reservation have a late check-in added to the remarks?

Don't mean to hijack your post but does magical express also run 24 hours. I have guests arriving around midnight. TIA

Yes it does. Make sure you make a reservation with the flight numbers so they are sure there is someone there, even if the flight is late.

What a lot of folks do is have a carryon for the overnight stuff, and tell bell services to hold the bags when they come in until you call. That is unless you like a knock on the door at 3AM!

Great question, Disneynutz. I never thought about arriving after midnight!! I will contact my owner now and have late arrival added to the ressie!!

Thanks for pointing that out!

I don't think you are considered a no show until they input the data for the next day, maybe 6AM or so.

While DME will take you to your resort 24 hours aday (assuming they know what flight you are scheduled on.) Bags Inc, the people that take care of the bags from MCO to the Resorts. Has a last delivery to the resorts at like 10 or 11pm. So if your bags don't make the truck, they won't be at the resort till the morning, which is like 5am.

Disney won't call to deliver your bag till 7am (at least that is what I was told when I called at 6:45am.) So there won't be a 3am knock at the door.

That is my understanding. We have shown up around 2am and they where all set for us. The CM at the desk was very talkative even though I just wanted to go to bed.

If you are flying in, I would recommend carrying a cell phone and call if you are delayed.

We generally arrive after midnight and have never had a problem with our reservation being pulled. However, I think it would be a good idea to add the late check-in to the remarks, just in case.

I stayed at SSR in September, my flight didn't land until almost midnight and I ahd no problems hen I checked in, close to 1 am. I wouldn't worry

Thanks everyone. I had the owner add a late arrival time to the ressie yesterday. I will call if we are going to be very, very late. I will have the contact info at SSR with me so that won't be a problem.

We arrived after midnight in December, and everything was fine. I did have a late arrival noted thru MS, but I also called the resort a 3 days before our arrival to let them know we'll be late, and also to make a request for the room location.

I'd call the SSR front desk to let them know that you'll be arriving late. You wouldn't want them to think you were a no show and cancel your reservation.
