Late arrival ideas?

We(DW/DH/DD6/DS4) are going to Universal Wednesday May 28th at opening after staying night before at hard rock so we can get the free express passes. After doing all we can do there (both parks) we are headed over to Disney to stay at CBR-Pirate room. That is technically our check in day and our 5th day free park pass. So it does not go to waste I thought we could at least see some fireworks or late parade instead of just crashing. I guess I am just looking for ideas for the late arrival day so its not a complete waste. I guess the curve ball is not knowing how long it will take to see all of universal/islands of adventure.

To err on the side of caution, I'd plan to go to the park with the latest fireworks show that evening, which without checking park hours is likely to be MK. This will give you more time to play with if you aren't finished at US. If you aren't trying to squeeze in FP's for that night you can always change on the fly and go to a different park if you are finished earlier than you expect.

A quick CS meal to eat while you wait for the fireworks too if you have time to squeeze it all in would make a really nice welcome to the Disney portion of your stay

I am just uncertain as to how long it will take to tour US and IOA. Also how long is ride to park (MK) by bus from CBR? I used to WL being close. Is it possible to see Epcot fireworks from CBR?
