Late April?

I have a trip planned for a time of year I really know nothing about. Any tips would be appreciated but my promary concerns are crowds and weather. We'll be arring very late April around the 26th or 27th staying 11 nights. TIA

That's a great time to go. That's about the middle to the end of school vacation week in NH and some of the NY schools, but it's not as busy as the week before it typically is. The weather then is just about perfect too, at least for us northerners who can't take the Florida summer heat. We've been several times in late April, generally the last week, and with the exception of our trip in 2000 which also coincided with Easter, have not seen excessively high crowds. The weather has generally been upper 70's to low 90's. We love going then. Actually, that's when we're going this coming year too

I went from April 21-29th this year and I thought it was pretty hot and humid. I'm from S CA so even though it wasn't high humidity for FL, it was much higher than I'm used to. The heat itself probably wouldn't have gotten to me so much otherwise, because I'm pretty used to that.
