Late April weather?

I am thinking about what to pack as only been in September when is is very hot and haven't given the weather in april any thought till now! Will I need to take some cardigans for the evening?

I am not sure you will, though to pack a couple just in case may be a good idea.
Generally weather in April should be ideal, lovely and warm without the intense heat of the summer (which is why we are going then).

John seems to think it will be warm enough early in the morning and evening not to need to wrap up and that it's one of the best times to go for perfect weather.
Personally I am tempted to take a couple of cardigans just in case or maybe just the use the light jacket I will be travelling in.

At times it was very cool in March went we went in 2005, but we always have the opinion when it gets to April the weather is easier to predict and should be in the mid 80s or so.

April is a great time to go, tbh we tend to go in april most years to early may. Find the weather to be just right into the 80's and warm enough in the evening to keep my shorts on. Also crowds less busier in the theme parks.
Have fun we will be there in april aswell.

When we went last April we did need something on our shoulders some evenings so I would pack a cardigan or light jacket. The weather was perfect during the day just when the sun went down it could get a little cool.

we went late april beginning of may last year, weather was very good, temp at aquatica was 100 in on pool, my brother and I wore shorts and t-shirts all day and evening too. we are going the same time again next year.

Thanks, I think I will pack a cardigan, I don't want to pack to much though so will just take one each for me and DD. The weather sounds lovely, september was so hot so looking forward to more bearable temps.

We went in April (9th-23rd), it was lovely, I found it a bit cool in the mornings, EM hours 8am so I wore a hoodie. Apart from that we were in shorts and vest tops the whole time. We had a morning at Blizzard Beach and had a great time, it was just a but cool waiting in line to go on a slide. The last 4 days we spent at St. Petes Beach it was gorgeous, fantastic sun bathing weather.
