We will be arriving at GC in the late afternoon in August, and my "plan" was to run right away to DCA and FASTPASS Soarin' and Grizzly River Run, so we could do them later that evening (acc to a thread, they're not connected, and I can get FP for both). Do you think that by 4-5PM or so there will still be Fastpasses left? If not, do you think that we can get on these rides in less than an hour? I had heard that DCA is not as crowded as DLP in the late afternoons-evenings (Plus, we'll probably skip the EP so we can see the fireworks at DLP).

This is our first visit, and we'll only be there for the afternoon-evening and the following day, which we'll probably devote to DLP. Any other advice on strategy?

There's a very good chance all the FPs will be gone by that time and any you could get would be for very close to park closing. The only way to get on both rides in less than an hour would probably be to use the single rider option. Both rides offer it, but your group will be separated and will likely be on different rides. Also, all riders must be at leat 7 years old to use this option.

We were at CA ADv on a not-so crowded day in April (the 28th I think) and all of the Fast-passes for Grizzly and Soarin' were gone by 4pm. It never hurts to try, though!
