Late afternoon at AK

OK, here's my dilemma: My DH isn't all-Disney all the time like me and the other couple we're going with, so I had to sacrifice one day of our four at the parks to go with him to Kennedy Space Center. We'll make it back from KSC at probably about 5 p.m. Here's my question: will I have time to run to AK and hit at least Expedition Everest before the park closes? I'm sure lines are terrible, but do you think my friends could grab us a fast pass where we could make it in under the wire? We'll be there on Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

I'm not sure what the park hours are on that Tuesday for AK, but usually AK closes around 5 or 6. With Expedition Everest being a new ride still, I would take a guess that the fast passes may all be distributed by that time of day. So, I'm not sure that this plan will work.

You friends won't really be able to grab fastpasses for you. They could, in theory get fastpasses for themselves using their own tickets, and then give them to you to use, but A) they'd have to time it just right, B) they'd have to sacrifice their own ability to get fast passes for two hours and C.) the number of people in their group would have to be at least as large as the number of people in your group.

In essence, I don't think it would work, especially if there is the slightest chance that you could get stuck in traffic or be delayed for any other reason.
Enjoy the KSC, it's a pretty cool place to see. I'd love to go there again myself...we just can never seem to budget enough time to do it (and the extra cost vs. the cost of adding a Disney day to our trips). Rest up, and get an early start the next day.

The only exception would be if it's an EMH night, and you're eligible for EMH, in which case you wouldn't need a fastpass. But I'm not sure I'd blow a ticket day just for 3 hours of park time.
