Dh and I missed the premiere last week. Can someone give me a brief synopsis of what happened? I know there was a thread last week, but I can't seem to get "search" to find it.

Carter's girlie du jour left to go back to Africa to work indefinately- for good? I sure hope so! Abby started her first shift early because they were short handed. Kovach tracked down Sam and we will see what comes of that tonight. It was as if no time passed from last season. Chen was minorly injured when the car that she and Cocky doc (what is his name?) were driving in went into the River. She was shot in the leg. Cocky was more severely injured as it turned out because of an unnoticed head injury by Morris (incompitent doc). Some kid who was with them died- someone had to after all, so why not the day player. OOhhh Weaver got her son back- the inlaws agreed to settle out of court on just caring for the boy while she works.

Anything else? I gotta get the kids to bed so I can catch the beginning of tonights show!
