This maybe a silly to even ask. We planned on visiting Epcot 11/19. The next day is the last day of Food and Wine. I’m guessing that weekend will be crowded at Epcot for the final days? Would Friday be any less crowded than Saturday ? Anyone have any experience visiting on the last day of the festival? Thanks.

Friday might be a little less crowded early in the day, but that's probably the only time, especially if the weather is nice.

Any day will be bad at Epcot with ratatouille only recently of opened fwiw

We did the last weekend of Food and Wine a couple years ago (2019). We are Disney veterans (DVC, AP), and have seen it all. We will never do that weekend again.

Things to consider:

It is the weekend before Thanksgiving. It seems a lot of people turn Thanksgiving into a vacation week.
Disney also seems to start filming their Christmas Parade Videos about that time.
There was a promotion that year for Food and Wine. I think it was something like enter EPCOT three times during the festival and get a cutting board or something like that. Also seemed alot of people were getting their last visit in under the deadline for the promotion. If I remember correctly, the "Free" gifts were selling for some decent money on Ebay, possibly causing more people to just go to get the promotion.

It was also 2019. Times were different then. No pandemic, and the economy was going strong. In Feb 2018, Disney had a huge ticket price increase (about 9%). And another huge increase in May of 2019 (about $15%). It did not seem to slow the amount of people visiting. All the parks were slammed that weekend. Again, several years ago, and slightly different timing, so your mileage may vary. And still remember the rule, a bad day at Disney is still better than a good day at work.

For F&W, Fridays are not bad until about 5 and then are crazy after that. As is almost all day Saturday and Sunday till about 5.
We avoid the weekend if at all possible.
