Well we have a trip booked for the week of April 17th. My wife just got booked for a job that week! Now our only available options are the last week of March or the last week of April. Arrive at the parks Sunday and we go Mon-thur and go home. Which week do you think would be better crowd wise? We will have my 2 year old son and also were taking my 13 year old little sister for her first trip ever. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

As mentioned, Easter is on March 27 in 2016. The two weeks around Easter (one week before and one week after) and usually very busy in the parks. That is considered the peak of the "Spring Break Season". By the end of April, Spring Break Season is largely over, but the Summer Season has not yet kicked in. The last week in March will be busy, but it also means the parks will be operating on their peak season schedule - longer hours and full evening entertainment. By the end of April, the operating hours will be shorter and much of the nighttime entertainment (e.g., fireworks) will likely only be presented on weekends (Fri to Sun). Still, if you're primarily worried about crowds, the end of April is likely to be less busy.

End of April will be better as Easter and Spring Break will be over by then.

I agree with last week of April, not only because of Easter, but better chance of less rain from El Niño

Now I guess the last week of April won't work...may have to push to the first week of may even...how busy is the week after easter sunday? Has anyone ever been?

easter is always busy. everyone is on break. if crowds are a concern, do NOT go the week after easter.

the first week of May has historically been great crowd wise, and is great if you are going Sun-Thu since the Tinkerbell half marathon weekend starts that first Thursday in May. May 1-5 should be pretty good crowd wise.

Perfect thank you....first week of May it is. Looks like BWPPI where we had our reservation is booked tho :(
