Last week in april weather/crowds?

What kind of weather and crowds can I expect for the 2 weeks of april 22nd/6th may? I know a lot of people from DIS are going around this time

I think it will be a little busier than normal. Alot of the NY metro area has spring break then, and I even tried to get a few different flights that were booked and then I tried for a few ps, one crystal palace was booked all week for dinner the last week of april, at least for our family size. If you plan well and use fastpass and make any priority seatings for meals you want that will help, also if you will be an onsite guest, take advantage of the early morning and late evening extra magic hours. The weather should be near perfect. We were there last april, easter and most of the time was great, a little rain and one very cool day. But other wise we had shorts on all the time, anything beats all the snow we have been having here. We will be there starting april 24 and I am looking out the window at the snow on the ground, I am definetely disney dreaming. Plan to do alot of swimming and soaking up the sun too. Bring your sunscreen.

We have gone the last week of April every year since 1996, and crowds have always been reasonable. There does seem to be a buzz on the boards this year that this particular week is going to be crowded, but if it is, it will be the first time for us in 10 visits.

The weather is usually great. Hot, but not overpowering like in the summer. We'll be there again this year from the 22-30!

This year we have our Spring Break during Passover instead of Easter. We only have Good Friday off for Easter.

My son and I are heading to the airport as soon as he gets out of school on April 22.

Maybe its the late spring break but there are alot of people in my office that are either going or know someone that's going. I can think of 6 other families just off the top of my head - of course none of them read the boards so we'll be better prepared.

We are going the last week of April too!! 22nd-30th Pop Century

There does seem to be a lot of people going that week, but I still don't think it will be as busy as May, with the new celebration. Disney has already posted extra hours, and extra EMH days for May, so they must be expecting large crowds. They haven't added anything to the April schedule.

Maybe thats just wishful thinking on my part. Here's hoping for great weather, and reasonable crowds.

Our anniversery is that week too!! The 28th- 15 years. It is also my almost 40 birthday that week.

We will be there as well, celebrating our 10th anniversary on the 28th. We should all have a big anniversary party!

It will be my DGF and mine's 1st anniversary on the 24th and it's also her first trip to WDW she's getting quite excited, quite funny sometimes as I carnt imagine what I was like during the build up to my first trip in 1992!!
