We are taking our last trip during the year of a million dreams this December. This will be our fourth trip since the celebration started. I hope we can win a lanyard this time. We have been lucky enough to win dream ears in 2007. This past trip we won dream fast passes twice!! How cool is that:cool2: !
Anyone else going the first week of December? I've never been this time of the year and I'm looking forward to all the Christmas decor:santa: . Any must sees anyone would like to fill me in on? I'm all ears!!

We'll be there in November for our 2nd trip during YOAMD. My kids would be over the moon to get what you got so far. I told them not to expect anything, as just being there is more than many will ever get to enjoy, (but I know they are still wishing). Enjoy your trip...

We are going the 1st week of December as well, our 2nd as the DVC Grand Prize winners...We have a beautiful 2BR at Saratoga Springs. Now, here are must sees I was told about:

(1)Resorts...All are decorated, but, must see Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian.
(2)Osborne lights at Hollywood Studios
(3)Get tickets for the MVMCP at Magic Kingdom. Carolling, Parades and Fireworks!!

Have a great time!!

I was just about to post a similar thread wondering if the Dream Squad still had a job thru December!?!

We'll be there the second week of Dec. and can't help but hope for just a little sumpin' sumpin'!:thumbsup2

Are people still winning anything? Anyone spotted the vested Squad of my dreams?
We ran into them twice at DL in March, but alas, they weren't awarding anything at the time...:sad2:
Was in WDW in 2007 too... our time is now!!! :worship:

(it's a long haul to either Disney mecca from Central Washington State!)

This will be our 2nd and last during the YOAMD. We didn't win anything last time, but we did have some "magical moments." I'm not too worried about it, my Disney trip will be magical whether I win anything or not! :)

We were in DW last week. I really was not even giving any thought to the YOAMD. We (me, DH, DD's 12 & 8) were coming out of the judge's tent after seeing Mickey. The guy that was holding the door open on the outside handed us all YOAMD lanyards. I was so excited! My girls were excited, too! At first, youngest DD wanted to know "what they did...if it was those fastpasses." I hated to bust her bubble...but after so many other CMs kept commenting to her about how special her lanyard was...she became VERY proud of it! :lovestruc

we have been a few time during yoamd and have yet to win. but to us just being at disney is enough for us!!! but i would also take anything that they gave me!!:rotfl2:

We have been lucky enough to have gone twice during the YOAMD and win once on each trip. Dream Fastpasses in 2007 and ears last week. I agree with the other posters here that just being able to go these days (economy and all) is enough for me!

We'll be there Dec 11 to 15! First trip during YOMD. No luck yet on any of the YOMD prizes but my fingers are crossed, and I keep sending the postcards! As others have said, Disney magic is enough for me! :yay: I'm wishing for a few surprises for DD this time around. She'd be thrilled with a lanyard or a pair of ears. I'm also working on a fairy godmailer postcard. Can't wait to see the look on her face!

We went to Disney Christmas of 05, the Wee of Dec 2nd, but that was a long time ago to me. The gingerbread house was great, but I can't remember which resort it was at. We also loved the Osborne lights and the snow! All the trees with themed decorations were DH's favorite, especially the AK one with the animals, and the ones at ASSports with the sports stuff. The MVMCP parade was awsome, but DD, then 5, slept throuh it. Christmas is my favorite time of year, so near Christmas at Disney is a dream. :cheer2: I didn't think we would be able to do it again, but someone worked some Disney magic!

This year I want to spend more time visiting the resorts and looking at the decorations. 05 was my first trip, so I was overwhelmed by all things Disney. The on-site resorts in our budget range were all booked up, so we're staying off-site. But, hey, you can't have it all can you???

I also will be in the "World" Dec 2-7th staying at the pop. This will be my first solo trip, so I don't think I will get any "dreams come true"
I am so excited I have everything, air tickets, 4 day hooper, Mickey's christmas on the 4th, All dining done...Just can't wait to pack the bags.
