Morning, Ruthie! Yes, she'll be fine when she gets that huge cupcake from Starring Rolls!:)

Definite porn worthy! And even if you are going QS, some of the food is excellent!

More proof, Ruthie, that you came after Sharon. These are the stats posted from Take 8 after it closed.

Okay. I get the message. THanks for following this up :thumbsup2. Alison is the newbie!! :rotfl2:

:faint:

Sigh...

I planned to get our free bottle of water with our meal the first day and refill it at the water fountains as necessary. (Crazy idea?? We have refillable mugs anyway, so I will have a bottle first thing.) If you think it is crazy, then a case of water might not be bad. I don't want you to have to do that if my plan can work.:)

We had no problems with drinking the water in Florida. We were asking for iced water. The QS and TS places offer it and some of the bigger snack vendors do this as well; especially if they are selling soda. I think the iced water comes out of the soda dispenser and is filtered. Much better than carrying around a bottle of water and filling it from the water fountains (which we didn't do much).
Remember that on the QS plan, you get a drink with your meal. We had a snack for breakfast and used our refillable mug for coffee/tea.
For the CS credits, we would get the bottled water with our meal and also ask for cups of iced water to drink with our meal. We took the bottled water and saved it for later; we didn't opt for soda.

And the other thing - if you do a CS credit for breakfast, you get 2 drinks! I think because you don't get dessert with breakfast, this is their way of compensating. So, if you have your refillable mug, you can claim 2 waters per CS breakfast. On the mornings that we did this, we would leave the extra waters and the mug back in the room and then carry one bottle per person.

We had a hire car and had planned on running out to the supermarket to buy a case of water - but we found that we didn't need to. And I drink somewhere between 2 - 3 litres of water a day!

Yes, it is. I don't plan on even looking at a hamburger! (Okay, maybe one if the mood hits!) But seriously, I love the QS variety. Sunshine Seasons is one of my favorites.:)

:yay: Yes! I just can't believe it.

I got up early and mowed the lawn in the blazing heat. I finished by 10:30, but OMG!! :faint: From today on I have a lot of running around to do.

well just get your things done, please make sure my email address & phone numbers (cell & home) are handy (wallet maybe? :) ) I just sent the numbers again to you via email just in case :-) and I'll see you both on Sunday!

I've already put your number and email in my cell.

I have to vote, go to Target, and sing tonight. I have a hair appointment in the morning to get a trim and a 45-min. meeting at church tomorrow evening. Then it's off to bed. We'll have to wake up at 3AM. So I need everything to be done before I leave for the meeting. I've ironed and packed all the clothes so I don't feel behind schedule. I just have all those little things to do.

sounds like you have it all under control..FYI weather is B E A U T I F U L and no not too hot at almost 2:30 pm FL must know you're coming :goodvibes

Right now we're selling a lot of our stuff on eBay. We sold this thing called an Over the Shoulder Bass Horn (civil war era thing so that the band could stand out in front of the troops and play backwards at the troops while they got shot at). We had to ship it to Michigan so after wrapping it in 6 inches of bubble wrap we had to put it in a box, and had to make the box. The tiring part was breaking up all the styrofoam that I could get my hands on and climbing up and down the step ladder to put peanuts in the box. The box was taller than me! About 68" by 22 by 22. It wasn't heavy but rather bulky. Then I had to get it out to the car and into the Fed Ex Station. That night I cooked an 11 pound ham for a meeting. Nothing too strenous, not like raking the yard of mud! :scared1: But still a lot of work for someone like me who is used to sitting at my computer all day! :surfweb:

:scared1::eek::scared1: :faint:

....oh....okay....:o

I sooooooo knew you would read that and :scared1: and :faint:

which is why I hurriedly put in the disclaimer

I'm working on "mousekeeping" envelopes. I have to head out in about 15 minutes. This day has flown by!

Believe it or not I KNOW what an over the shoulder bass horn is (although initially an old broad like me immediately thought "over the shoulder bolder holder...which is what I grew up hearing a bra referred to as ...hey it was NY maybe its a regional thing :rotfl2:)

BUT back to the horn. My oldest DD is a USMC Major and she went to a military college. I remember they had a lot of era pieces there on display. However did you get that ? Hope you got a good price. I would have been peeing in my pants watching you two pack it up....should have taken pictures

You know me too well...

we'd probably ace it at charades !
