Yeah, I'm finishing up a four-day weekend (it's only four because I called in on Thursday). I work 12-hour overnight shifts as well, as a CNA, though. Have a good night! :flower3:

I hate 4 -12's in a row-I only do those right before or after a vacation-and I use to be a CNA while I was in nursing school its a very hard job most times-take care :)

The most we're regularly scheduled to do is 3 in a row, but we don't have enough staff to cover call-ins, so we sometimes wind up with 4 in a row. Such is life, though, right? :) I was looking into nursing school, but after being a CNA, I've changed my mind and will be going back for a business degree.

Once again, have a great night! :)

I hated being a nursing home CNA-but love being a Pediatric RN-its soo fun most nights in the ER-I know bunches of corny jokes for the kids-and they do say the funniest things

The best thing I love about it though is the flexiblity of the schedule for my family it has allowed me-but its not for Everyone-good luck with the business thing :wizard:

I'm at an assisted living facility at the moment, which I like. I hated the nursing home :( One of the reasons I'm looking away from nursing is because just an Associate's would take me 4-5, maybe even 6 years to finish because there's just no way I can go full-time with my current job. They're not going to switch from 12-hour shifts, and if I move to day shift, I'll never be able to go to class because of the rotating schedule. It's such a pain. With the business degree, I could be done in less than 2 years.

But yeah, it's not for everyone :)

No it means I am in the property rental business that you have no idea when you'll be where!
