I have heard they are one of the highest around yet on the news the other night they stated they are losing $20 million a day by being in Florida. How in the world does that happen?

It's funny how that works huh?

What's going to end up happening is no insurance companies will want to do business here. You know...I don't remember any of the insurance companies talking about getting out of CA or LA or anywhere else there have been losses. I guess FL is the only place in the country that's too risky for State Farm. Just silly.

whoa! it's cold outside

we had a layer of 2 inches of snow, on top of about 1/2 inch of ice, on top of 2 inches of show.

we cleared it all up... but it's getting covered already!

while dh, myself and ds13 & ds9 were out shoveling, DD made cookies and hot coco/cider/tea for us all.

So now I'm having cookies and milk... the tea will be next

We really need to decide what we are going to do in 2010. I know it's far off, but we need to secure the reservations pretty quick here.... especially if we're doing to do the cruise.

I think it is a crock of crap what they are doing. And I also think if you can offer Car, Boat or any other type of insurance in Florida than you HAVE to offer Home Owners also.

All the mudslids and earthquakes in CA seems more of a risk than what we have here.
