DH and Matthew just left to go to a dirt bike track about 2 hours from here. This is the first time Matthew's taken his dirt bike to a track and he's very excited.

DH, on the other hand, wasn't as thrilled because we had planned to go out on the boat when this came up. But, I tried to remind him that we'll have the boat forever but Matthew isn't always going to want his dad to go dirt-biking and such with him - sooner or later he's gonna grow up and we just won't be "cool" anymore.

Two of Matthew's friends and their dads are going.

I hope they all have a great, injury-free day!

We went fishing last night - let me rephrase that....once again, we went out on the lake and fed the fish from our hooks!

But it was a beautiful night with a full moon and we still enjoyed ourselves.

Andrew didn't go with us and as we left he said, "Good luck fishing." I told him we didn't need luck - all we needed was an act of God. He asked what I meant by that and I told him - we needed an act of God - you know, like God telling the fish to literally jump onto our hooks because that was the only way we were going to catch anything!
