yes. Still haven't managed to get him to take a flippin photo of it to show her the final result but I think so.
Very hard to read that.
I'd spent so much time trying to get it he didn't have 'much' to open for Christmas. So I'm not sure if he had that disappointment in the background???
But when we went onto video skype to do 'live' opening I saw his reaction and I think he was happy.
He can be very hard to read.

It depends....what did they get you instead?

Nothing instead....it was that and a bag.
I apparently needed something in touch with my 'feminine' side. So even though I have a perfume I like...and plenty of it...I get given "Bright Crystal"
Sigh....
It's too strong for my taste

Nothing instead....it was that and a bag.
I apparently needed something in touch with my 'feminine' side. So even though I have a perfume I like...and plenty of it...I get given "Bright Crystal"
Sigh....

I'm not ungrateful...but I get tired of not being listened to

My DH is really a prince....but today.....he didn't hear me at all for about an hour. For that entire hour, whilst we were in the Westfield, he kept questioning EVERYTHING I said.....example...

"Baker's Delight is closed. Let's go to Safeway to pick up the baguette for dinner." (This after I'd gone to the fresh food section and scoped it out).
"What do you mean...closed? Let's go back down. There's 3 bakeries down there."
"You can go down there if you want. But I think I can work out when a shop is closed...maybe I don't know much....but I think I can tell when the shelves are empty and the lights are off......"
"There are 3 bakeries down there."
"All 3 are closed."
"That can't be right....they may have just opened. It is Anzac Day."
"Yes, it is Anzac Day. Shops aren't opened till 1pm ...that's why they aren't opened."
"They can't be closed."
"AARGH!!!"


It's not easy....but you do get used to it.

I have a very close friend from work. Her and her husband and us have been going to the Vic Market for the last 7 years every fortnight on a Saturday morning.
She is going away on holiday to China.
Her husband didn't want to go; but his birthday is one day before mine.

So, we've decided that we are going to go out to dinner together...just him, DH, DS and myself. We're going to go to a Malaysian restaurant for dinner.

Whilst I like fine dining, I'm much more a value for money sort of gal.


What about you?

Spray a little bit into the toilet everytime you flush . It will dilute the smell and the bathroom will smell "noice"!

Life's too short to get upset by minor petty details like this. Just remember - you won't remember it in 5 years time....and if you do, you're going to need therapy!

Nope not I...
I like fine dining but I really don't dine out. Family are all about 'value for money' and don't like dining out.
If Andy were here we'd be going somewhere expensive (whether he has the money for it or not).....it's the way he is.....but nope...not going out.

Will likely have lunch with friends though....not expensive...but nice.

Oh I didn't worry much about it at the time...and haven't thought about it much.
Just with another birthday coming up I do wonder what they've thought up this time
