If they have a garden, why not give them a tree or a plant? That way, it will grow with them over the years. A cumquat is always good for Chinese....gold!

Chinese teapot with tea cups.
Serving utensils.
Vase.

But I do remember being bombarded with cumquats and other citrus in Singapore around Chinese New year....geez...

I'm hesitant on the teapot as I think they'd have lots already...
