Last Questions about DL Hotels :)

Me again!

I'm trying to decide between the PP hotel and the DLH. It makes sense for us to stay onsite rather than offsite at the Anabella to get the extra MM hours over NYE.

But I am in a quandary. DLH is more expensive than PP by about 100.00 per night, and while I like the size and the price of the PP Hotel, I'm unsure about booking it right now.

So here are the questions:

1. Is this the only kind of elevator at PP or are there interior elevators as well?

(From the WDWInfo resorts page) Does the DLH have interior elevators?

2. I don't do heights at all, and would need a lower floor. (Terrible fear of heights ) Does either hotel have ground floor or lower floor rooms?

There are interior elevators at the PPH, at least 2 I think. And you can request a low level room. I did when I was there. Most elevators make me motion sick, so I request low floors on check in.

That's good to know And it sets my mind at ease a bit. Now I just have to decide on which one.

I just thought of another question - does the PPH have a lower level pool?

PPH has 3 interior elevators in addition to the glass elevator. DLH has 3 towers and each one has 2 sets of 2 interior elevators. You should be able to request a lower or ground level floor at either one.

I just stayed at the PPH after always staying at DLH or GCH and was really impressed by the make over. The rooms are updated, the beds are new and very comfy and it is a quick walk through GCH to the parks. I very liked it.

The pool at the PPH is on the 3rd floor. You would have to make an effort and walk to the end of the deck to know you weren't on ground level.

Actually, lower level rooms are less in demand than upper level rooms, so you should have no problem.

The Dobies much prefer the PPH to the DLH for our needs...no kids, we tend to eat in the parks, and we only use the room for resting.
