Have you ever been the last person on a ride when park is closing?I have only twice, once on Space Mountain they gave me a balloon , I asked why and CM said that would let Cm's at bottom know I was the last person on ride. The other was POTC nothing real special but neat for me and DW to have a boat all to ourselfves. If you have been last one on a ride what was your experience like?:earsboy: :sunny: :earsgirl:

Nope. Never been the last one. Close to last, but not the real thing.;)

We were the last ones on the Dinosaur ride. We did not get anything for it. Well, that's not true. We ordered a poster of our photo and it is nice...just the 5 of us on the ride.

I was last to ride pirates of the carribean back in an early 80s trip - was right after spring break - park was a ghost town - I went through pirates about 4 times in a row - was very cool

We were among the last riders on POTC-it was actually pretty scary! Very quiet and eerie...

DH and I were the last two on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin one night. It was pretty strange. What was really cool was leaving the Castle one night after a late dinner and walking through an empty MK and seeing the CMs at work.

I think my son, his g/f and I were the last ones on PotC last May. It was an E-Ticket night and they were just getting ready to close it down. I begged the CM to let us ride and he waved us through.

Weird feeling seeing no one in front of us or in back. We had a blast singing Yo Ho, Yo Ho and yelling we wants the red head. LOL! :p

We weren't last but we were the only people on Test Track for about 30 mins. first thing in the AM. This was 2 weeks after 9/11. I did not enjoy seeing the empty queues.

We were the last to ride Test Track due to a kid switch. If that is not wierd enough, there was no one else on the ride when we rode it. It was a little eeery!

DS3 & I were the last to ride the Jungle Cruise during MVMCP last December. We were suppose to meet DH & DS8 in Fantasyland. We were the only ones walking along -- everyone else had pretty much cleared out. It was a very weird and unsettling feeling. If I had been with the rest of my family I probably wouldn't have felt that way, but with just the little guy, I felt very uneasy. Made me pick up my pace a lot.....then DH & DS8 weren't in Fantasyland because they had been escorted out. By that time, the cleanup crew was all around. It was even scarier.

Two nights before that, we rode Dumbo as a family at closing. It was awesome to be the only ones on the ride. I'm sure probably a once in a lifetime opprotunity.

I have never been last on any ride, because we are usually trying to move our way to the exit BEFORE mass exodus. BUT, we have been the ONLY people on a ride. PoTC seems like a ghost town at night. It is scary when you are the only one and the boats in front of you and behind you are empty. I agree Kallison, mind you, I do not like LONG lines, but a totally empty ride is kind of creepy.

In January of this year while fireworks were just ending DH and 2 oldest ran to Space Mountain for 1 last ride.....we were leaving in the morning. So DS-10, DS-7, and DD-5 along with me ran to Snow White, we were the last ones and it was our last ride until next trip. We goofed around the whole ride looking at the white spots that showed up on socks, shirts, and shoes underneath the flourescent lights. We had a blast, can't remember the ride but do remember laughing and giggling a lot! When we got off the CM let DD watch as they sent through all the cars to show that we were last!

We were the last to ride on space mountain on E-Nite. Some of the CM'S rode with us.

During our last trip in 2000, we were at Space Mountain at the end of E-night. My DD was talking (ok slightly flirting...) with the CMs working the right side of Space and asked could we please bypass the loooonngg walk back around to get to the other side to ride. The CMs showed us the "secret" walkway to get to the left side and we were the only ones there!!

We rode all by ourselves, and when we got off the CMs at THAT end were not too pleased. Apparently the left side was supposed to be closed.... But we had a great time being the final riders and loved experiencing the secret passage!

This sounds so cool-to be the last one on a ride. A new goal for me! How do you do it? Line up for the ride just before park closing?

Bump, some real neat experiences , interesting to hear them.
