I have to get everyone up and we have to be out of here by 11am for girl scouts.

DD has her first brownie meeting today. I think I am more excited than she is

DD belongs to Girl Scouts, except that the leader is the laziest one aroun-meetings only once a month,and they haven't even had a meeting yet this year-who kows when they'll start

I did a search last night and didn't really come up with too much that was any good. There was a Math site but when I picked DD's Grade Level all the problems were the same answer. She took one look at that and said "Mommy every problem is the same answer."

I am trying to get DD into Brownies. But the troop leader is a not so good one. And I have called the Local Chapter to get a list of the other ones in my area and I still have not heard back from them. I guess I better make a note to call them again.

The troop leader I was talking about called me and was telling me all about things. Than she said "if your interested you need to come to my house I will give you a form that you can go and fill out in your car than walk it back up to me or take it home and return it". I guess she didn't want me to come into her house. Needless to say she turned me off before I even met her. I know that is wrong but she just struck a cord with me.

I know-Our Leader is terrible-I even offered to help as an assistant leader-GET THIS-she says after the first year"Well,I'm going to have all the Mom's take turns being Asisstant leader,so next year Jane's Mom is going to do it" Well two years later Her Mom is still Assistant Leader(guess we didn't hit it off )
