DH wanted the more expensive house we saw on Monday with it's smaller yard-but it cost about 15,000 more and had no community pool for the kids

I just felt I would rather have the smaller payment-bigger lot and the community swimming pool and tennis courts-better for the kids
Also better for Catie since 2 of her new friends live just in the subdivision!!!

But as I said he's being a pain about the whole thing!!!!

Thanks -it is the house with the terrible wallpaper-but I'm willing to tackle it-Now if I could just get DH to be excited about this house

He's not pleased, it seems, since he has to start his new shift soon and wont have much time to work on the house-so it's been hard to get excited about the move since he's being such a pain about anything I suggest we do to improve it

Looks like I'll be doing any/all the improvements if I want them-he just doesn't seem to care right now and it's not much fun for me and the kids since he seems so "I don't care" Ughhhh

Sorry DH isn't very excited. That's a bummer. Maybe I need to make a trip down there to help you with the wallpaper!!!

I think I would have sided with you! Especially with the smaller payment. Why pay more if you really liked this one.

And for me, the community pool would have been a big selling point!

The weather report is calling for afternoon thunderstorms (some severe). I just hope that they hold off until late afternoon. Even if they hold off until noon we should be okay as far as them getting their competitions done. Usually by noon everyone (except swimmers and the volleyball players) are done. Then they have lunch, then they get their medals.
