is anyone going to fireworks tonight?

We went to a community picnic and fireworks. It was great. I helped with serving the food/drinks. It was put on by our church. They "guesstimated" that there were about 1,300 people there! For a little church (of about 100) to host such a huge celebration was unbelievable. We served bbq pork with coleslaw, rolls, baked potatoes and dessert.

There were five bands providing the music.

It was all held on the field at the elementary school and the firework show was awesome. The fireworks were shot from trailers in the middle of a corn field!

Yep, I'm still reading back. Plus I left for a minute to put some onion petal in the oven!!!
