I'm back and the DIS is getting a little slow-wonder if it's going to shut down soon????

I got some dinner too-since my kids ate all the turkey and ham I got for dinner-well they left one piece of ham

I think I scared the neighbor girl though-I was on the phone when DD informs me there's no more turkey,so I kinda yelled that there better more left,i guess DD made the neighbor another sandwich and piled the turkey on a bit high,oh well I should of been in there to suprivise them-darn phone

I LOVE HGTV and my DH would be glued to the hunting channels...so that is one of the main reasons that we don't have cable, we would be too addicted plus it can get expensive if DH got all the channels he wanted...My DSis' DH is always watching sports...always...and they have tons of channels and digital cable...she must pay well over $100 a month...don't want to got there.

we only get basic digital cable and we also get the high speed internet from the cable co too-so yep our bill is 100/month too!!! Dh is always threatening to get rid of it to save more $$$,but I wont let him

Well I should have never gotten in bed. What a waste of time. I laid there all night long waiting for sleep to come and it never did. And it wasn't like I was thinking of anything. Just couldn't sleep. Finally got up about 2:00 and found my Mom and my Nephew sitting in the living room. I guess he couldn't sleep either.

are you Catholic? bury a St. Joseph stature ( I think that is the right saint) in your yard facing the direction of your new home/city...it has worked for people I know don't forget to get him before you leave and take him with you. I know that some people bury him in a zip lock bag, to keep the satue clean

That's right! Saint Joseph is the Patron Saint of carpenters, cabinet makers, laborers and house hunters (plus a whole lot more). Couldn't hurt to try!

I'm going to meet a friend for breakfast this morning! I haven't gotten to see her for a while with all the stuff I've had going on with school so I'm really looking forward to sitting down and talking with her. She and I are catering a wedding reception together on June 3rd so we really need to get working on that.

The wedding that we're catering is for a friend of ours (my co-manager at work) and they're on a very low budget. Anyone got any suggestions??

We have the basic cable (I don't think it's digital), high speed AND our phone through the cable company! So our bill is $111 a month (which includes a statict IP for an extra $10 a month)

It is so worth it to us. I just figure it out as we get each service for $37 and that includes free long distance!!!

dh took my car today (he's low on gas and was running late) so I had to take the kids to school in his car.

Ok guys! I need some serious PD here!! I went and applied for the state job and I really want it!! It's perfect for me. The only thing is when I went to leave my application the woman I left it with gave me a hard time giving me the WTH is wrong with you look when she asked me why I left the hospital. I really HOPE I GET THIS JOB!!! It's perfect for me & it's so easy for me to get too. I walked there in about 10 min. I WANT THIS JOB SOOOOOOO BAD!!!
