It has been busy here. My two female dogs are doing well, poor babies had their surgery...It was very hard to leave them at the vet's overnight...I almost cried when I left them....I gave them a hug and told them I know how it is and they wanted to follow me and had those sad hound-dog puppy eyes but they are doing well now....vet did a great job

Took DS for K orientation today...he is excited to go, wants to go now then took the kids for their annual exams and shots...examine was okay, shots weren't so great by the time we got done today, they missed the whole day of school....tomorrow is their graduation program, so hopefully they practiced enough

I stayed home today...I was only going to take off in the morning, but I have a horrible sore throat I hope it gets better soon. I want to go to work tomorrow and the graduation is at night. Plus, I almost completely lost my voice...and I am so talkative, it is like torture for me

My kids are upset about not going back to Disney. They keep asking when we are going again and I keep saying not for a long time... they are having Disney withdrawals

We are having some major internet problems so before I get kicked off here...

We had our meeting yesterday. The assistant superintendent was very apologetic. He called in the head of technology and showed him the website and he really didn't say much, but his face sure said a lot. He said that the web site would be down within the hour. (And it was gone by the time that I got home.)

The assistant superintendent said that he would meet with the superintendent after lunch and discuss the situation with her and then they would discuss it with the principal and the teacher. He told us that he would not be able to "share" whatever was discussed with the principal and the teacher because that is a "personnel" issue. I knew that but it upset DH.

I don't know exactly what I thought I'd feel when we left there but I didn't feel good. I think I was looking for more, but I don't know what.

I slept a little better last night but I still feel like I've lost a lot of security!

Sorry I couldn't get on here last night and tell you all what happened. I signed on two or three times and started typing and my internet went down!

I don't know why I feel like I expected anymore than for them to take the website down (which, by the way, they did from the county office not from the school) but I just did. I think the teacher owes us an apology but I didn't get the impression from the asst superintendent that would be the case. I guess I'm just getting tired of the school screwing up and then being able to say, "oops, we're sorry" and then have everything to go back to normal. It has just happened too many times on big things. Oh well.....life goes on.
