well...two weeks prior to this weekend we had a lot of family functions with DMil's side (her mom passed) and this weekend we had parties Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday lunch, Sunday dinner and dinner tonight for DH's side (I gained a few pounds )
DS is on his last week of summer school and is very sad...he LOVED school..
still need to do a few things for DD before starting K
DH has a job interview at work in a couple weeks (the wait for this job/interview put our lives on hold since May)...so hopefully that will be resolved soon :wizard:

and one of our hens had 13 or more baby chicks :love:

WOW!! you have been a busy woman!! are you ready for DD to be going to Kindergarten already! I can't believe it's time already :hug:

I need to go to the school and make sure everything is going fine with my Fin aid, but other then that i'm pretty much ready :yay:

once I finish that I can register for classes and be done till school actually starts :thumbsup2

I know...time goes by too fast! DD is so excited to go though..so I am happy for her....but I will probable cry for a month again :guilty:

we were talking about 1st days of school the other day b/c a friend of mine has a son who just turned 5. I remember my 1st day I was happy and ready to go, I walked in without a tear and sat at my desk and waited for the teacher to start the day, but my older brother was at the door crying b/c he didn't want me to go to school yet :rotfl:

what was even funnier is he was gonna be in the same school I was :rotfl:

he was going to the 5th grade. When stinky went her 1st day she was just as happy as could be to be there, and my mom cried this time. We have a picture of it to prove it :rotfl:

but she wasn't the only parent to cry that time

it's too early to talk about school!!!...
i don't go back until August 16th, but that is a Thursday and the orientation day...
Friday the 17th is the real first day...
so i go one day, then i get a weekend...
