No, really they are the ones that are sweet. I am finally getting my piano moved!

YIPPEE! Today is piano moving day!!!

It did!

It's done! It's moved!!!!!! No more piano in the kitchen and now we can move in the new kitchen furniture so that DH can start staining it!!!

We ended up with two guys from DH's unit and three guys from the fire department here to help. They moved the piano to the basement (definitely not an easy task - out the side door, to the front of the deck, down off the deck and down a hill to the basement door! ) and then they moved the wood stove (cast iron) that we had as an insert in the fireplace in the family room down to the basement also. We've decided we want to go back to just the old-fashioned fireplace.)

Remember I went last Saturday and ordered our family room carpeting?? They said it should be in the store in 7-10 business days and should be installed within 5 days of them getting it in the store. Well, DH and I were talking about some timelines today and mentioned the carpet. We were expecting them to have it in the store at the end of this coming week and install it late the next week. Matthew was listening (naturally ) and he said, "well, can't they put it in this week?" And we said no, we had to wait until the get it in the store. And then he says, "didn't you hear the message on the machine from the other day - they got it in!" O argued with him and told him that wasn't possible. So then I went and listened to the messages. Seems they called Thursday and it is in! (Guess I need to listen to the messages more often!) But the installer was on vacation and wouldn't be able to call until Monday! But if he's not too backed up from being on vacation it may be in this week!

Very slow day around here!

We got my china hutch set up in the kitchen (where the piano was) and it looks so nice. DH is dreading staining it though!
