we extended our trip by one day and came home tuesday night. I am feeling better -- but just looking at food makes me a little queezy-- so crackers for lunch today!!!
on my way to work.
tell everyone about my day at the park on monday later
Once again I am going to post and run... Travis has his state Achievement tests this morning and it's going to be hectic. He is NOT used to having to get up early in the morning!!
Not to mention that they are holding it at an office building, in a conference room, but NOT providing a place for the families to wait. That is NOT a very good plan on their part. They expect you to wait the 2 1/2 - 3 hours while your child is taking the test in the lobby Now, we're all homeschoolers, so we WILL Have all our other children with us... and I'm going to have "to keep them quiet, since it is an office building and there will be people working" I'm all for good manners, but come one. That is expecting too much of the families. Here.. sit in this lobby and don't say a word, and you can't leave b/c you don't know how long your child will take to take the test.
Ok.. I'm done grumbling
Now I'm off to wake up T and make some pancakes. Have a great day all!
wonder if both my kids will be home sick today-DD fell asleep in the living room last night at 8:30!!! very unusual for her-then when I put her in bed she started shivering like mad-I hope not
