I just don't get why DS thinks a hooded sweatshirt is a jacket when there's over 8 inches of snow on the ground and it's below freezing :confused3

I told my Mom that buying him a nice Columbia jacket was a waste of money

but the positive note is that DD didn't forget her clarinet-I think she either took it with her(good girl) or left it at school in the band room :thumbsup2

it was finally nice to celebrate the actual event-the school doesn't have a ceremony for the Jan graduates-and he doesn't want to walk the stage in June so this was a nice way to help acknowledge his accomplishment :thumbsup2

although we celebrated that on Sunday-Saturday was just a day out with our friends ;) (and no sleep)

well-I need to head out and get a bunch of things done today-so I hope you both have a good day-see you later :wave2:

I bet he'll change his mind! Ok I tell ya something I don't tell everyone, but i was 20 when I graduated. I had quit school when I was younger b/c my mom was preggers and she had to be on bed rest, so I was the only one really working at the time. My brother was never around much (yeah and he's her baby!) and my grandmother has never worked a day in her life (she was living with us at the time) so I didn't go back to school till I was 19 and I turned 20 my senior year, I didn't want to walk either, but I changed my mind at the last minute and they let me do it! I was SOOOOO proud of myself and I was sooo happy that my family was there for me.
