DH was going to buy us a new smooth top range before Thanksgiving. But I didnt' want to get it before the holidays because I didn't want anyone to cook in it.

I didn't want a big meal cooked in it and than it be all messed up. I know I am strange.

Have you thought about those new smooth top convection stove tops-it can boil water in about 2minutes-and it doesn't get hot to the touch-it only transfers heat to the metal pan-it's so cool!!!
