Last night's Extreme Makeover Home Edition

For those who saw it, do you know how their parents died? I missed the beginning. I cried through that show!

They each died of heart attacks

They both died of heart attacks, the mom died first.

We had very bad weather and our station kept going to "the weather center" and we missed a lot of little things. What did Ty do to the boy's room??? Does anyone know if it will be replayed later this week??

The only boy got his own bathroom (the girls bathroom has 7 sinks & vanities!). Since the boy plays the guitar, Ty put in a wall of speakers - the room was done in a "rock" theme.

In the same year they both died of heart attacks?? Those poor kids. That is just so freaky too...they must have been fairly young. I hope thekids get check ups.

It was EXTREMELY touching. I have never seen the whole crew cry BEFORE they started working...

I t was great what they did for those kids with all of the changes to the house....but is anyone else ever cynical like me and ask how the up-keep is going to be,,,not so much the inside of the house, but keeping a pool is a lot of work and what about a miniature golf course and all of the new landscaping........

it's like watching people get makeovers and wanting to know what they look like when all of the "HELP" goes away.....

I did say to DH, they should show the house in a year, see if they have kept it so nice! 8 "kids" under 25 in a house...

I'm cynical, too. I wonder how much work will go into upkeep with 8 VERY young adults living there. It was nice that someone paid off their mortgage, so at least that is one expense they will not have-although their taxes are going to go through the ROOF now!!!

How young was the youngest "kid" in that house?

The youngest was 12 and the oldest was 23. I also wonder how much the homeowners insurance goes up and if they install a security system for the family.

I got so excited when they sent them to DW. That would be the ultimate for me, an extreme home makeover and while someone else was working on my home I got to go to DW for a week!!
