Last night for Osborne Lights, how crazy do you think it will be?

This is such a triple bummer if the weather holds for rain! (and cold rain, at that)... Not only are the lights going away, but the dinner reception will be moved and the lights may not dance, and no snow.... instead of going out with a bang, the lights are looking like they may go out with a drizzle. Just cancelled my hotel reservation. :sad1:
:sad2: Will hold on to the Merry and Bright Dinner for now. (Just wish it was going to be Merry and Bright!) :headache:

Did anyone see the final showing of Osborne?

We didn't since it got pushed back. I have watched the video and it left me balling.

We were at WDW 1/1 to 1/6. Plan was to see lights on 1/2 & 1/3. On 1/2(the streets of america were packed). As it rained on and off all day on 1/3, the lights were a disappointment as a lot of them were out due to the rain. Luckily my DD overheard a CM tell someone they were being extended until 1/6, so we made plans to go back on 1/5, and they were on in all their glory with much lower crowds.

They will be missed.

I saw it streamed last night. The last songs were "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", followed by the Mickey Mouse Club song. Then lights out. Sad....

I was THERE! Yay! Just got home. It was a perfect ending.. as everyone was leaving people were wiping the tears away. I was taken by surprise by my own sudden tears as the lights started going out and the music faded while we were told goodbye. After the lights were out the "Charlie Brown Christmas" theme was playing. It was a joy to be there!

WOW; such a FESTIVE, BEAUTIUL SHOW! HOPE, HOPE that they will "find room" somewhere in WDW for the lights!:wizard: Only saw them once, but was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our trip! :banana:So happy that we had a chance to see them last Dec...LUCKY YOU to see them the last night!:thumbsup2

the Mickey Mouse Club song was appropriate since they used to tape that there. I watched that online too. We were there on Dec 20 though and went around the lights for about an hour, and have seen them 3 times total now. They will be missed

I was there until the end. Very sad.

But it was very cool that at 8:00 they dimmed the lights and did the Star Wars fireworks. It was fun to watch them from a different vantage point.

I was there on the third and then again on the sixth. They did the Mickey Mouse Club theme on Sunday as well, and I shed some tears during that. I was a bit worse on the sixth and it still has yet to really hit me that I'll probably never see them again...but a part of me is hopeful for them being placed elsewhere. The crowds really weren't all that terrible last night. We were there from 7pm till they shut off at 10pm and we were able to comfortably walk around.
