A couple weeks ago, I got an email from my Mom saying she was booking, at the last minute, to join some of our other family in Disney at the end of July. I've been several times in my life but haven't been since 2002 before I had my son. (He's now 7.) I LOVE Disney but didn't think I could pull it off since I am currently leaving one job (budget cuts/layoffs-I'm in education) and was interviewing for another position. We've wanted to take our son for years and were planning to in 2011.
So I was up and down but ultimately decided I couldn't do it because I wasn't sure if I'd get the other position and I didn't want to take on that financial commitment. Well, long story short, Mom was completely unhappy we couldn't go and ended up booking flights, booking lodging and buying park tickets for us! Within 24 hours I went from no sign of Disney any time soon to having a trip booked!
Oh..AND I got the job! So I don't even have to feel like a free loader. We're headed to Disney/US July 26-31. I cannot wait!!
